Privacy policy
Effective 2026-10-04
This policy explains what information Launch Lantern collects, what we do with it, who we share it with, how long we keep it and how you can reach us about it.
Who we are
Launch Lantern is run by [Legal name as on the Brand record], trading as Launch Lantern ("we", "us").
- Address: [Street address as on the Brand record, City, ST ZIP]
- Email: hello@launchlantern.com
- Phone: (606) 543-0104
We set up and run AI Sales Agents for US home-services businesses. This policy covers launchlantern.com, our sign-up and enquiry pages at app.launchlantern.com, our phone number, and the texts and emails we exchange with you about our own service.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to answer you, provide our service and keep records the law requires. By source:
- Our Enquiry Form. Your name, your business, your phone number, your email address and what you ask us.
- Your consent. When you tick a box agreeing to texts or calls, we keep a consent record: the wording you were shown, the time, your IP address, your browser's user agent and a snapshot of the page.
- Signing up as a client. Your business details (legal name, trading name, EIN, address, website, trade), the contact person's name, role, email and optional phone, and the record of the agreement you accept (the version of the Terms of service, your typed name, the time, your IP address and user agent). Card details go straight to Stripe, our payment processor, and never to us. We keep only what Stripe tells us about the payment, such as the card brand, last 4 digits and expiry.
- Calls with our Sales Agent, including our demo line: recordings and transcripts of the call.
- Texts and emails you exchange with us: their content and when they were sent.
- Our hosts' server logs: IP address, the page requested, the referring page and your browser, as every website host records.
How we use it
We use your information to answer your enquiry, book and remind you of calls you ask for, provide our service to clients, bill clients, keep the consent and contact records the law requires, honour opt-outs, and check the quality of our Sales Agent's conversations. We don't use it for anything else.
Who we share it with
We share your information only with the service providers that run our service for us, and only so they can do that:
- telephone and text carrier;
- voice call platform;
- email sender;
- AI model provider;
- website and application hosting and storage;
- payment processor;
- calendar.
All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
We don't sell or share personal information.
AI and recording
Calls, texts and emails from us may come from an AI Sales Agent, which always says so, and says yes when asked whether it is an AI.
Every call with our Sales Agent, inbound and outbound, including our demo line, is announced and recorded from the first second. We keep recordings and transcripts for quality and compliance. If you don't want to be recorded, use text or email instead.
How long we keep it
- Transcripts, recordings and records of each call, text and email: 5 years from creation, then deleted.
- Consent records: 5 years after the last contact that relied on them, or after you revoke them.
- Your profile (name and details): deleted 5 years after the conversation's last activity.
- Opt-out entries (your phone number or email address marked "do not contact"): kept forever, so you are never contacted again.
Five years is the period telemarketing rules require us to keep these records. We don't promise to delete anything sooner.
Asking us to delete your information
If you ask us to delete your information, we delete your profile and the content of transcripts and recordings. To make sure you are never contacted again, and to meet our record-keeping duties, we keep your phone number or email address with its opt-out entry, the consent and contact records until the retention periods above end, and a note of your request. We don't delete everything.
Opting out
To stop calls and texts, reply STOP to any text, say stop on a call, or ask us in any reasonable way, and they stop at once. Every email has an unsubscribe link. A stop request ends calls, texts and email from Launch Lantern.
Our SMS terms explain our texts in full.
Contact lists
We don't buy, rent or scrape contact lists. We contact only people who asked us, and for our clients only people who asked them or whom they supply.
Our clients' customers
We contact people on behalf of the businesses we work with, under each business's own name, and handle their information for that business. That business's own privacy policy and SMS terms apply. Send requests to see or delete your information to that business; we help it respond. If you ask us to stop, we stop at once, whatever the business's policy says.
Cookies and tracking
launchlantern.com sets no cookies and loads no tracking scripts. Our host keeps standard server logs (IP address, page, referrer, browser), used only for aggregate traffic counts and security. Our sign-up and enquiry pages at app.launchlantern.com set only cookies they need to work, and run no analytics. When you pay, you go to Stripe's checkout; Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout pages, under Stripe's privacy policy. No third party collects information about your activity over time or across sites through our site.
Do Not Track
We don't track visitors across sites, so we treat every visitor the same whether or not their browser sends a Do Not Track signal.
Seeing or correcting your information
To see or correct the information we hold about you, email hello@launchlantern.com.
Nevada residents
We don't sell personal information. Nevada residents may still send an opt-out request to hello@launchlantern.com.
Children
Our service is for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we make a material change, we announce it at the top of this page and, for Clients, by email. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
